2017 Auditions

Our 2017-18 a capella season is kicking off! The current Cleftos have started rehearsing in preparation for Spooktacular this fall. However, we are in need of new members. Joining the Cleftomaniacs will guarantee you a second family that will work together with you to make your college experience even better. The Cleftos aim to provide an environment where Drexel University students can appreciate and produce quality a cappella music, while at the same time uphold a high standard of musical excellence.

October 4th, 6pm Location: URBN Center Annex, Screening Room Now is your chance to become a Clefto! Joining the Cleftomaniacs will guarantee you a second family that will work together with you to make your college experience even better. ​ Before arriving to auditions, we ask that you have 2 songs prepared: a main song and a back-up song in case we would like to hear more. Please arrive to auditions about 15 minutes early to get all preliminary paperwork finished so we can begin on time. During your audition, we will test your pitch and vocal range. Please bring a copy of your schedule, a pen to write with and make sure you are warmed up so that you can grace our ears! ♫☺ ​ Callbacks - October 5th, 5pm If you pass the initial audition, you will receive an email stating that you have made callbacks. At callbacks, you will learn and sing one of our previous songs together with the group and other called back students. Upon arrival you will be put into your vocal part and then taught the song. You will then be tested in small groups that have one person on each part.
